(Charlottesville, Va. and Aliso Viejo, Calif.) March 5, 2019 – Silverchair announced today an agreement with the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) to migrate its award-winning and nationally recognized journals to the Silverchair Platform. The new sites are set to debut in September 2019.

Acute and critical care nurses rely on AACN for expert knowledge and the influence to fulfill their promise to patients and their families. AACN helps professionals to stay current in their practice through its publication of the journals Critical Care Nurse, the American Journal of Critical Care, and AACN Advanced Critical Care. From bedside care to research, AACN’s journals present evidence-based clinical information and capture the latest in high acuity, progressive, and critical care nursing.

“We are delighted to partner with AACN on its upgrade to state-of-the-art journal platform features, user interfaces, and self-serve management tools via a migration to the Silverchair Platform,” said Thane Kerner, Silverchair CEO. “AACN provides vital information for those on the front lines of critical care.”

“Peer-reviewed journals have long been an important part of AACN’s offerings,” said Herb Williams-Dalgart, AACN’s learning excellence director. “We believe Silverchair, as an innovative leader in this industry, will be a great match for us and will help us offer our members and subscribers the functions and features that today’s critical care readers want and need.”
