(Charlottesville, VA) December 10, 2020 – Silverchair announced today three major product developments, including the recently released Silverchair Composer, an industry-leading authoring product that allows publishers to bring even more of their content into a single user experience. The launch coincides with the announcement of upgraded versions of the Silverchair Platform tools for downstream content deposits and platform analytics. Together, these products provide publishers with broader support for their content and deeper insights to meet business needs. These developments reflect Silverchair’s continued investment in its core platform and its commitment to creating tools, features, and products that help publishers to negotiate their evolving market, fulfill their missions, and remain competitive.

With Silverchair Composer, Silverchair expands its omni-format content capabilities to provide first-class support for “semi-structured content,” such as blogs, commercial or sponsored content, journalistic features, marketing pieces, news, or white papers, providing them with the same robust search, browse, and display treatment as traditional scholarly content types. Also releasing this month is Radiate 2.0, a significantly upgraded downstream deposit tool that enables publishers to monitor and analyze the success of downstream deposits, set up new feeds, and access robust reporting in a user-friendly dashboard. This tool reduces costs for clients to set up and administer deposits and it empowers them to resolve deposit issues as well as create dynamic reports to analyze deposit frequency, status, and volume.

Finally, launching this spring is Silverchair Analytics, Silverchair's new streaming analytics solution. Silverchair Analytics offers access to real-time data captured from publisher sites, traditional canned reports, and the ability to create customized reports to meet unique reporting needs. Publishers may also access these metrics and reports through a data visualization dashboard.

All these offerings will enjoy the same continuous improvements and full-feature development plan as the rest of the Silverchair Platform, with new functionality releasing every three weeks.

“Silverchair has been hard at work engaging clients over their needs and opportunities, building tools and functionality, and testing products with users, so it’s exciting to be able to share these developments more broadly,” said Will Schweitzer, Silverchair’s Chief Product & Customer Success Officer. “This year has found us all faced with no shortage of challenges and impossibilities, and our goal is to help our publishing community to pivot, experiment, and grow quickly and with low costs. These products and tools are a key part of that vision.”
