(Charlottesville, VA and Philadelphia, PA) March 23, 2021 – Silverchair announced today an agreement with the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) to migrate their content to the Silverchair Platform.

AACR

Reflecting the various types of information needs of researchers, physician scientists, and clinicians, the AACR publishes nine journals, each covering an important aspect of cancer research, with a new journal to launch later this year. The AACR’s journals cover cancer science from prevention to diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship and receive consistently high rankings in Clarivate’s Journal Citation Report® (with half of AACR journals ranking in the top 9% in Impact Factor in the Oncology category in the most recent report).

In addition to these prestigious journals, the AACR publishes Cancer Discovery News, which publishes hundreds of timely and highly relevant news items each year. This important resource will now receive the same first-class treatment as the AACR’s journal content through Silverchair Composer, expanding the reach and opportunities for this content.

“Providing a seamless, modern user experience for the AACR’s content helps their readers to find and consume that information as quickly as possible, which makes our collaboration not only impactful, but critical,” said Thane Kerner, Silverchair CEO. “We are thrilled to count the AACR among the many innovative scientific publishers that are part of the Silverchair community.”

“The AACR is excited to work with Silverchair,” said Christine Battle, Publisher and Vice President, Scientific Publications. “This new association will facilitate the continued enhancement of our journal websites and will provide the best possible online content experience for our members, authors, and readers.”
